Go To Where Certified Resume Writers Got Their Credentials
There are two major credentialing bodies for the resume industry. Both have search engines on their home pages
that allow prospective clients to identify members (Certified Resume Writers) by location. Links provided
below...
1 - The Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches, or PARW/CC, is an industry association founded in 1990. Credentialed members will
hold the designation CPRW after their name, standing for Certified Professional Resume Writer.
2 - The National Resume Writers' Association, or NRWA, is a volunteer, 400-member non-profit trade organization founded in 1996.
Credentialed members will hold the designation NCRW after their name, standing for Nationally Certified Resume
Writer.
Both accreditations (CPRW and NCRW) hold equal weight in the industry. One caveat: not every search result will
yield updated contact information, or members who are active in their profession (i.e. taking on resume
clients).

Resume Writers
We pretty much scoured the Web to identify the 10 or more most popular resume writing services. As
a former recruiter (and a former resume writer), I took a hard look at each; the backgrounds and
qualifications of their writers, their quality of workmanship, pricing, methods of operation, etc. If interested,
see mini reviews of all on our home page, Resume Writing Service Reviews.
